Created in 2018, the CASTOR CANADENSIS FILM COMMISSION (CCFC) was created to promote one of the most under-represented groups in Hollywood - the North American Beaver. In the last 100 years the beaver population in the world has grown over 100x, however the number of beavers appearing in Motion Pictures (excluding documentaries) has remained at the same level it was when Hollywood began making movies over 100 years ago. We here at the CCFC want to change that. Our mission is to find the most talented beavers in the world and create projects for them so their voices can be heard. We here at the CCFC are pleased to present our first short film project "Nubbinwood" - a short film starring a young beaver we were introduced to a couple of years ago. We hope his story makes you laugh and cry, but more importantly inspires you to chase after your dreams.
